DUSA The Union

Airlie Pl, Dundee DD1 4HP, UK – 01382 386060

I went to the Union with a friend, and unfortunately she got a little worse for ware. I couldn't find her for while and I was very distressed, but thankfully a member of staff came across me and pointed me in the right direction of her. My friend was in trouble as she had had to much to drink and had been sick, they had relocated her to the first aid rooms. I helped her up and we got in a taxi home. My friend was prepared to pay a fiver for the lift, but the very nice Greek lady said that it was courtesy of the union, and let her go home for free. I live in Tayport, and the very helpful Greek lady then let us go to Tayport from Newport as well for free as courtesy of the union. I would just like to say a huge thank you to the staff for taking care of my friend, and notifying me when she was in trouble, and (unlike liquid), helping her get home safely from the crazy night at skint (which btw was very fun, thank you). I will definitely return to the union in the future, I had lots of fun.

It is with good reason that DUSA has won so many awards, a well deserved #1 in Scotland. Drinks are always cheap, entry is fair (except during freshers week) and each floor has its own unique atmosphere. There are nights during the week for pretty much every musical taste, distorted for example caters to metal, rock and alternative -something which your don't see very often elsewhere. Flashback which is exactly like it sounds; bringing back the last 30 years of music. And then there is Skint, the £1 entry, £1 drinks night, well worth a visit.

Great place for a hen do. Me and my Friends had an amazing time. We were treated really well from the staff even though they had a lot of big groups in that night!

Fantastic treelined course. Very helpful pro.

Good course let down by the weather. Clubhouse looked after us well but could have been better on the layout of sandwiches with the soup.

Good atmosphere, decent prices for pool and snooker. Drinks aren't too bad. Table 1 for snooker is a bit battered though

Very good ambience and conductive for a snooker player. Also have an all you can play for 5£. Must bring own drinks though as the place does not offer any drinks.
